1. Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

2. English Service Greeters : We are looking for people who can serve once a month as greeters or ushers during English service.  If interested, please contact Yvonne Lee at 713-785-9379 or YXTSANGL@txccc.org .

3. Promotion Sunday for Children Sunday School : Today, all pre-K to 5th graders will be promoted in their Sunday School and Church Time classes. Pre-S to Kinder are in Room 206, 1st-2nd grades in Room 208, and 3rd-5th grades in Room 115 for worship. Toddlers will be promoted to pre-school on 9/10.

4.   Handbell Choir(s) Registration: We will offer 2 handbell choirs in September. A) Friday Night group (for 5 th -8th Graders) rehearses at 7:00 to 8:00 pm. B) Sunday Afternoon group (open to youth & adult) rehearses at 1:45 to 3:00 pm. Please come to the registration table in the lobby today from 12:15 to 1:00 pm.

5.    Graded Children Choirs Registration : Kinder (4 & 5 years old), children (1 st & 2 nd Grade) and Junior Choir ( 3 rd to 5 th Grade) could be registered at the lobby, today.

6. No AWANA Meeting : Please note that there will not be any AWANA meeting next Friday, 9/1.

7.    HCC Family Picnic Co-workers' Meeting : All co-workers for the picnic please come to a brief orientation meeting 9/10 (Sunday) from 12:45 to 1:15pm in Rm. 412.  Contact Karen Ho with any questions at drkarenho@aol.com .

8. Youth PTA Meeting: For parents of all 6 th to 12 th graders, please come to our first PTA meeting to be held next Sunday ,9/10 at 1:00 pm in Room 511 (Trailer 5). We will inform you about the Youth Ministry, our schedule and update our roster. Please bring your lunch and join us.

9. BSF Houston Young Adults Class: Starting on 9/12, our

church will be hosting the BSF Young Adult Class ( Singles between age of 18-35) every Tuesday night from 7:15- 9:00 pm.

This year's study will be on the book of Romans. Please contact Cindy Yeng or www.bsfinternational.org for details.

  10. Choir Concert : Our Church Choir will be joining hands with church choirs from West Houston, Clear Lake, Port Comfort, Fort Bend, Chinese Baptist Church, Chinese Bible Church, Southwest Chinese Baptist Church and Sugarland Chinese Baptist Church to have an open concert directed by Dr. Richard Lin, a renowned Musician from California on 9/23( Saturday) at 3:30 pm in our church. Please pray for this event and bring your family and friends. It is free and open to all.
