Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

Children
Deacons Confirmation: Last
Sunday there were 282 members participated in voting: 267 for votes, 15
abstain votes. There were 26 non-members voted . Brother Alex Tsui was
confirmed.
3.
Muscles Needed :
This afternoon from1:30pm
to3.00pm- Brothers, please assist Danny Ho and Roy Chen in clearing out
old furniture and obsolete equipment.
4.
Community Service
Department : Will hold a church-wide
brainstorming meeting to discuss the services that HCC will participate
in. Please come and voice your input or ideas for next year's community
service opportunities today (10/29) at 1:00pm in Rm 512.

HCC
Family Christmas Tree Ornaments:
Supplies and instructions for making the neatest nativity scene ornaments
will be in the lobby from 10/ 29 through December. Encourage your
family, fellowship, or small group to participate. Put your names
on the bottom to take home after Christmas. Help set
up the tree, string lights, and move lobby furniture, and decorate
on Sunday 11/5 from 1:00pm-3:pm . Contact Karen

PTA Meeting for Children's Ministries:
We
will have our annual parents and teachers meeting on 11/5 from 12:45 to
1:30pm in the Sanctuary. This is a come-and-go time for parents to come
meet and talk with your child's teachers.
7.
Parents
of Youth :
A prayer meeting open to all parents of youth (grades 6-12) on the first
Sunday of each month in Rm 412 from 12:45-1:30 pm.
The first meeting will be on 11/5. Please bring your requests, needs and
burdens and join concerned parents in praying for our youth. There will
be prayer groups in Chinese and English.

Children Benediction
Ceremony: Good news! We will have a children benediction ceremony
on 11/19, the Thanksgiving Sunday. If you want your child to take part
in it, parents need to take the preparation class on 11/12, 1-2pm. Room
to be announced. For more information, contact the church office.
