1.
Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Affirmation of Calling a Chinese Pastor: Praise
the Lord that we voted for inviting Pastor Yuh Shi Luh to be our Chinese
Caring Pastor. There were 232 members voted for, 4 against and 53 abstain
and 18 for, 3 against votes from non-members.

. Shoes For Ugandans: As many Ugandan children
do not have any shoes, we are doing a virtual shoe drive to get them their
first pair of shoes. Instead of donating shoes, we are inviting everyone
to give $1, for a total of $1000 from our church. The money will buy 800
pairs of shoes in Uganda . Your $1's will be collected next Sunday 7/22,
after both services in the lobby.
4.
Community Services.: The
Chinese American Relief Effort (CARE) is sponsoring the annual School
Supply raffle tickets to assist the needy families in JFK Elementary School
. The $10 raffle tickets are available beginning this Sunday (7/15) to
(8/5). Please come by the church lobby to purchase the tickets.

Evangelism
Sunday: Will be held on Sunday
7/29. Please pray for this outreach
ministry and bring your non-believer relatives and friends.

. Discovery / Impact Summer Camp :
Discovery
camp will be on 7/29-8/1 for incoming 6 th to 9 th grade student, cost
$195 each person. Impact camp will be on 8/1-8/5 for incoming 10 th grade
to senior, cost $240 each person. Brochures & registration forms are
available in the lobby.
7.
Robert Morrison Exhibition: An
exhibition of historical pictures featuring “200th anniversary of Morrison's
Missionary work in China ” will be held from July 19-22 at 10:00am-6:00pm
at West Houston Chinese Church . There will be interpreters ready on site.
