Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

Welcoming
Pastor Yuhshi Luh: We
praise God that Pastor Yuhshi Luh will start as our Chinese Caring Pastor
on August 14. We welcome him today during lunch time. Please come to have
some cake and meet him.
3.
Awana
Clubs: Can you believe another Awana
year is just around the corner? Registration begins TODAY, in the lobby
after the Noon Service. Clubbers who are 4 years old (by 9/1/07)
through 5th grade can join and cost is $60 for the school year. Register
by 8/19 and receive 10 Awana Shares for your clubber. Opening night is
9/7 at 8 pm in the HCC Fellowship Hall.

Carol Huang Scholarship Awarded: The
following students were awarded the above scholarship: Yuanyuan Li, Gerald
Kim, Agnes Ho, Bless Yee & Yun Chen. Presentation will be held on
8/19(Sunday) at Noon Service.

Children Choirs Registration :
Kinder (4 & 5 years old),
children (1 st & 2 nd Grade) and Junior Choir ( 3 rd to 5 th Grade)
could register at the lobby, 8/19, 8/26 and 9/ 2.

Children
Sunday School Teachers: The
Children's Ministry keeps growing and we are looking for Sunday School
Teachers for the upcoming year. "Change a life" and join Kid-nection,
contact Alex Tsui (281) 265-2988 if you are interested to assist or to
co-teach classes.

Marriage
Conference: Do you
want to build a stronger marriage? Come and join us for our marriage
conference, which will be held on Friday, 9/7, from 7:30p.m. to 10p.m.
and Saturday 9/8, from 8:45a.m. to 3:00p.m. in room 210. Our theme
is "Building a Healthy Marriage." Our speaker is Dr. Karl
Elkins, who is a professional Christian counselor for 25 years.
Child care is available.

Family
Life Ministry: Will have
a series of marriage enrichment seminars and activities conducted in Mandarin.
These include a “Blueprint & Secret” Seminar on 9/1, an “Active
Communication” Seminar on 9/8-9, a Couple Retreat on 9/21-22, and a
Vow Renewal Celebration on 10/14. You can visit the display booth &
the Family Life Bulletin Board. Spaces are limited.
9.
Time To Clean Up:
Please set aside Saturday,
9/29 from 9:00am -3:00pm for our annual church cleaning day. Contact Karen
