We welcome
our guests who are visiting us for the first time. May the Lord Bless
you. Please consider this church as your spiritual home if you are not
attending church regularly.

Confirmation
of 2007 Church Budget :
Praise the Lord! Last
Sunday there were 282 members participated in voting: 257 ”for” votes,
2 “against” votes & 23 abstain. 26 non-members also voted.
3.
Chinese
Sunday Services Today : Please
note that
families
will worship together and the kids will go to Rm 210 after the children's sermon.
Pre-school classes and nursery available at 11 am, elementary children's
program beginning at 11:40 am.

Kids' Lunch in Sunday School:
Beginning in 2008, children
will have the opportunity to eat lunch with their families during lunch
time. Instead of ordering their lunches in Sunday School, please pick
your children up at 12:15 pm. Next Sunday, 12/30, is the
last Sunday we will have lunches delivered to Sunday School classes.

Quarterly Prayer Meeting: Start
2008 right by praying with the church family. We will be having
our quarterly prayer meeting on Wednesday, January 9th, 7:30 pm in the
chapel. We will have English, Mandarin, and Cantonese prayer
groups for you to join.

Department Announcement:

Youth Minister Candidate: David Carter has been invited
to come back to HCC as a formal candidate of the youth minister position
on 1/11-13, 2008.

Our annual youth retreat is
here soon! Dec 27-30 to be exact. Please sign up quickly!

Church Kitchen Service Rooster: The
2008 kitchen service rooster is available to be picked up from the mail
box of your fellowship or small group. Thank you for your faithful service
and may our Lord richly bless you.

Pastoral Staff Itinerary: Most
of the pastoral staff except Doug Lew and Cindy Hong will be out of the
office between 12/26 and 1/4/08 either attending the Chinese Mission Convention
2007 in Philadelphia or on vacation. Office staff Minh Lam will be on
vacation from 12/27 to 1/4/08.
