Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join
us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Extraordinary Women
: The
topic for this meeting is “ Passing
On Your Faith without Turning Off Your Kids ”
Please join us on Wednesday, 4/16 from 9:00am to 11:30am in the Chapel.
The last meeting “ Beyond
the Empty Nest ” will be held
at the same time on 5/21 ( Wednesday). Afterwards we will have lunch
together. Please call Rosemary Goh at 713-212-3112 to reserve a place.

Children Benediction Ceremony: Will
be held on Mother's Day Sunday on 5/11. If you want your child to take
part in it, parents need to take the preparation class today,
1:00-2:00pm in Rm 514. For more information, please contact
church office.

Chinese School : Is
currently enrolling old/new students for next school year. Please take
a registration form at the Chinese School counter on the 2 nd floor
from 1:30-3:00pm every Sunday. Also, we are looking for Chinese teachers
who love children and know either Simplified or Traditional Chinese.

Handbell Concert
: Will be held at 8:00pm on 5/16 (Friday). Please bring your
family and friends to enjoy the special music and gospel message. Child
care will be provided.

. Carol
Huang Memorial Scholarship: Applications
will be accepted for 2008. Five $ 1,000 need-based scholarships will
be awarded. Deadline for application is 6/30, 2008. Award will be announced
in early August. You may pick up an application in the church office
or email taiw@hcchome.org .

First Annual HCC Ping Pong Charity Tournament: Will
be held from 6/6 to 6/8 in the Chapel. Please contact Karen Ho, drkarenho@aol.com
or 713-212-7588 for details. Please register in the lobby on Sundays
after noon service.
