Welcome:
We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time.
Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Praise
and Worship Night :
Every
Tuesday at 7:15pm, a praise and worship night will be held in the
chapel in the summer. Please come, sing praises and bring glory
to our Lord.
3.
Summer
Sermons: From July 27 to
August 31, will be from the Book of Psalms.
4.
Mentoring
Children: We have a mentoring opportunity to serve the neediest
children in our neighborhood to read at Shearn Elementary School , which
is three blocks from our church at Stella Link and 610. Christ said in
Matthew 25:40,”…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
of mine, you did for me.” If you are interested, please sign up in the
lobby.

Community
Service: CARE
annual school supply tickets are available for purchase TODAY in the lobby.
For $10 a ticket you can help Shadydale Elementary School students to
receive assistance in school supplies. Most of the students in Shadydale
Elementary School are from underprivileged families and their parents
can not afford school supplies. If

Youth Camp information
: Camp
Impact: Please be here at HCC Sunday, 7/27 at 1:00pm. Will come
back on Thursday, 7/31 at 4:00pm. Discovery Camp: Please arrive
at HCC on Thursday, 7/31 at 10:00am. Will come back on Sunday, 8/3
at 4:00pm.

Emerging
Culture & Asian Americans:
Come hear Keli'i Akina, President & CEO of Youth for Christ Hawaii
and adjunct Professor of Humanities and Philosophy at Hawaii Pacific University
, talk about the emerging culture and its impact on Asian-Americans. He
will be speaking during the afternoon Sunday School hour in the Emerging
Culture class on August 3 in room 411. Parents of youth are especially
encouraged to attend.
