Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please
join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Graded Children Choirs Rehearsal : Begins today from 12:45pm
– 1:25pm. Kinder (4 & 5 years old) will be in Rm. 203 & 204,
children (1 st & 2 nd Grade)will be in Rm. 205 &206, and Junior
Choir ( 3 rd to 5 th Grade) will be in Rm. 210. We appreciate parents
to help their kids arrive on time.

Awana
Clubs:
Pick up your registration forms today in the lobby. Club begins
on 9/12. Cost for the school year (September to May) is $60/clubber
and includes uniform, books, and awards.

Chinese
School
New School Year: Will
start today .To register, please go to the Chinese School counter on
the 2 nd floor or contact Principal Chen at 713-560-9424 or 713-662-3166.

English Buddy is
starting a new year! We
are looking for English partners to meet with internationals
to practice English conversation and share God's love. We will be pairing
you with an international with similar interests, age, and gender to
meet 1-2 times per month. We welcome college, singles, couples, and

2008 HCC Family
Picnic : Set
aside Saturday, October 4, from 10:00 am-2:00pm for our annual
church picnic. Family, friends, buddies, and pets on leashes welcome.
Wonderful lunch, ice cream, relaxing time with each other, children's
playground at Pavillion #3 in George Bush Park . Monies and love
offerings will be sent to AIDS/Poverty Relief efforts. Sign-up

7.Community
Outreach: There will be
a joint effort among ten churches in our community to make an impact
in our neighborhood by serving Shearn Elementary School , which is located
three blocks from our church at 610 and Stella Link. A work day is schedule
on Saturday, 10/18 to do landscaping, painting, and repairs for the
school. The Bible says that the world will know God is real when His
children is able to work together. (John 17:20-23).

HCC Annual Chinese
Bible Conference :
Will be held on October
17-19. The speaker is Pastor Caleb Huang of Rutgers Community Christian
Church of New Jersey .
9.
