1.   Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the n oon service.

2.    Children's Sunday School Classes: The new school year is underway! The pre-school classes (pre-school through Kindergarten) meet in Rooms 203-206; 1st-2nd graders meet in Room 208; 3rd-5th begin worship in Room 210 and have classes in: 3rd (219), 4th (217 & 218 B), 5th (215). Please pick up your kids after the noon service/English SS.

3.    Women Fellowship: This fellowship will meet every 1 st and 3 rd Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 am beginning 9/24. On 9/24, we will have a joint opening ceremony with the Rainbow group. Pastor Emmo & Mrs. Estella Lin will be the keynote speakers. Please register at the lobby or in the church office.

4.    PTO Meeting: What happening this year in the youth group? What are they learning? What's their goal? Can you get involved? Come find out on Sunday, 9/28 at 1:00pm in the Sanctuary. ALL parents of youth are invited to come.

5.    New College Students Luncheon : Will be held on 9/ 28.  We would like to treat all college freshmen and new college students to HCC at Rm. 511 immediately after Sunday school for a complementary lunch.  You'll dine with some of our loving church leaders and members and hear our plans for this year's college ministry.

6.    2008 HCC Family Picnic : Set aside Saturday, October 4, from 10:00 am-2:00pm for our annual church picnic.  Family, friends, buddies, and pets on leashes welcome.  Wonderful lunch, ice cream, relaxing time with each other, children's playground at Pavillion #3 in George Bush Park .  Sign-up in lobby.  Contact Karen Ho with questions, drkarenho@aol.com .

7.    HCC Annual Chinese Bible Conference : Will be held on 10/ 17-19. The speaker is Pastor Caleb Huang of Rutgers Community Christian Church of New Jersey .

8.   Community Outreach: There will be a joint effort among ten churches in our community to make an impact in our neighborhood by serving Shearn Elementary School , which is located three blocks from our church at 610 and Stella Link. A work day is schedule on Saturday, 10/18 to do landscaping, painting, and repairs for the school.

9.    Pastoral & Office Staff Itinerary: Roy Chen, out of town, 9/19-23; Douglas Lew, vacation, 9/20-25. Linh Phan, attending conference, 9/25-10/1, mission in East Asia , 10/2-10/21.
