1.    Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the n oon service.

2.    2009 Budget: Included in today's bulletin, please find the proposed 2009 budget. After seeking God's plan for our ministry direction and full discussion, the Pastoral Team and Church Council are presenting the budget for your review. If you have any question, please come to the Q/A session on 11/30 at 1:30 PM in room 112.There will be a congregation meeting after each of the worship services for affirmation on 12/7.

3.    Kid-nection: Children's Sunday School Teachers Needed for Winter 2008 and Spring 2009 : Will you make reaching children for the Lord a priority in your life?  This ministry is challenging, humbling, and will test your faith.   If the Lord is leading you to teach His word to our next generation, please contact Alex Tsui at 281-265-2988, or Cindy Hong (cindyh@hcchome.org).    

4.   Children Benediction Ceremony: The Children Benediction for the Chinese service will be held on 11/23 (Thanksgiving Sunday) while the ceremony for English service will be held on 11/30. Parents who have registered please take a preparation class today at 1:00pm – 2:00pm in Rm. 514( English Speaking).

5.    Child Evangelism Fellowship(CEF) -Teacher's Training : Will be held Saturday, 11/22 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Chinese Christian Church, 10251 Bellfort Chase Drive , Houston 77031 . Contact Alex Tsui at 281-265-2988 to register. Teacher training in presenting the Gospel to children, Bible lesson prep, counseling children, teaching memory verse and music, etc.

  6.   Thanksgiving Sunday English Service: During the Morning Service on 11/23 there will be an extended time for the congregation to share briefly how God has blessed them. Please prayerfully prepare for this special service.   

7.    Chinese School Parents' Activities: Will be held every Sunday from 1:30pm in Rm 113. We now have Tai Chi, Chinese Chess, Go & other types of Chess playing. Please come and join us.

8.    Ordination Of Maranatha Chung: Pastor Hsueh will speak at Maranatha Chung's ordination service in Philadelphia on 11/22. Maranatha was one of our supported missionary who ministers to Chinese immigrant in Northeast Philadelphia . He and his wife, Angela are former members of HCC.

9.    High School Winter Retreat: High School students, come join us for our winter retreat - reFresh08.  from12/ 21-24. we will be in Port Aransas with FBCC taking time to rest and refresh in our walks with Jesus.  The cost for this retreat is $85 and spaces are limited.  For more information, please pick up a registration form at the youth center, or contact David Carter or Stanley Chang. 

10.    Cantonese Bible Conference : Will be held on 11/ 28-30. The speaker is Pastor Stephen Lee from Canada .
