Welcome:
We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join
us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

Awana
Clubs: Awana
will meet every Friday, at 8:00 pm in the HCC chapel. If you already
registered last fall, you do not need to re-register. Clubbers who have
turned 4 by January 1, 2009, and any new clubbers may register for the
spring term. Cost is $30 and forms are available at the 1st floor registration
desk. Turn in completed forms to Room 104C or the church office.

for HCC's 2009 Mugs N Muffins. Bring your mug and we will provide coffee

Missions Conferences: If you are interested
in attending missions conferences/courses (E3, Urbana , Perspectives
courses etc.) in 2009, scholarships are available from the HCC Missions
Department for congregation members who need financial assistance.

& Science : Dr. Francis
S. Collins, a world-renown geneticist who oversaw the International
Human Genome Sequencing Consortium and the author of “ The Language
of God: A Scientist Present Evidence for Belief ” will speak at Rice
University on January 21 (Wednesday) at 7:30 pm. Details of the event
can be found at http://www.veritas.org/rice. Do not miss this opportunity
to invite non-believing friends and families who are scientists and
researchers, especially those who are in the field of Life Science.
