1.    Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

2.    2008 Offering Record : Will be available in the church lobby today. After today you may obtain a copy from the Treasury Department in the church office.

3.    Handbell Choir: Spring semester will begin today in Rm 214 at 1:45-3:00pm . Both adult and Youth are welcome to join..

4.    English Retreat: Please save this date: The 2009 English Retreat will be from 3/27-29 at Pineywoods. Come and be refreshed and renewed.

5.    Newcomers Lunch: Will be held on Sunday, 2/8 at 12:30 pm in Rm 411 for those who have recently starting coming to HCC. We'd like for you to have this opportunity to meet church leaders and to learn about our church. Lunch (boxed), drinks, and desserts will be provided.

6.   Seamen Ministry: An opportunity is available to visit ships from Asia on the third Saturday of each month at the Port of Houston . Please join us to befriend the seamen and share the gospel with them. The first trip is on 2/21 and dinner is provided at the end of the visitation. 7.    Ephesians 4 Project: A special “Christian Beliefs” Sunday school class is offered beginning on 3/1. You are invited to sign up for one of the classes and purchase the textbook, “Christian Beliefs”, for $10 in the lobby. The teachers for the five classes are: 1) Bill Huang & Pastor Doug 2) Dan Tung, Andy Yip, & Joe Joe Chen 3) Ryan Quock, James Hsia, & Martin Luke 4) Henry Lee & Paul Chung 5) Pastor Fred & Peter Ou.

8.    2009 Caregivers Conference: Presented by Interfaith CarePartners and St. Luke's United Methodist Church will hold free skill-building workshops  for caregivers on 2/7 (Saturday) from 8:30am – 2:00pm. For more information please go to www.stlukemethodist.org , click on Caregiver Conference.

9.    Baylor University Men's Choir: Will be traveling from Waco to give a concert at our church on Friday, 3/27 at 8:00pm. Please bring your families and friends to this special event.
