1.    Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

2.    Community Service: Through the efforts of 3 churches, AACH Job Network (Asian-American Christians of Houston Job Network) has been set up for the members and friends of WHCC, HCC and FBCC in sharing employment opportunities. The new internet address is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AACHJobNetwork . Please pray for this ministry and notify us if you know any job openings to be posted. 3.    HCC Health Day:  Will be held on Saturday, 4/25, 10:00am – 4:00pm . We need non-medical volunteers to direct the traffic flow on the Health Day and provide assistance to medical/nursing staff to keep the event running smoothly. Interested in serving? 4.    Children's Ministry:  What are you planning to do this summer?   Is the Lord calling you to serve at HCC?    Please pray about serving in the Children's Ministry ~ you will be challenged, you will be humbled, but you will be greatly blessed.    To serve, contact Alex Tsui 281-265-2988 or Cindy Hong at CindyH@hcchome.org .    Summer curriculum starts June 7, 2009.

5.   English Membership Class : Will be held on Sunday, 5/3, from 12:45- 3:45p.m. in room 513. Those interested, please contact Pastor Fred:pastortow@hcchome.org.

6 .    Carol Huang Memorial Scholarship: Applications will be taken for 2009. Five need-based scholarships will be awarded. Deadline for application is 6/30. Please pick up an application from the church office or email taiw@hcchome.org.

7.    Shearn Community Project:  There will be a work day on Sat. 5/2, from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. at Shearn Elementary School , 9802 Stella Link.  Churches in our community will join hands to make an impact in our neighborhood.  We will be landscaping, painting, and repairing.  Lunch will be provided.  Come either in the morning or afternoon.  Sign up in the lobby.

8.    College Workshop Day : Will be held Saturday, 5/2, from 9:30am-3:00pm at West Houston Chinese Church .  Juniors, Seniors and their parents are invited to come listen to college leaders and students share about what to expect from the college experience.  Cost is $5 a family. 9.    Youth Summer Camps: Please save the following dates:

   Discovery Camp (Middle School) 7/26 – 29; Camp Impact ( high School): 7/29 – 8/2.

10.   Pastoral Staff Itinerary: William Hsueh, vacation: 4/22-30. Douglas Lew, attending grandma's funeral at Seattle , 4/23-26.
