The quarterly church wide prayer meeting will take place on 7/1 ( Wednesday)

Parents
of Youth: We will be hosting
our first Youth Parent Gathering on Friday,7/3, from 8:00pm-9:30pm in
the Chapel. Please try to come as we'll be encouraging each other
and talking about what's going on in the youth ministry. Contact

Praise and Worship Night : Beginning
on 7/7, and every Tuesday night during the summer months at 7:30pm, a
praise and worship night will be held in the chapel. Please
come, sing praises and bring glory to our Lord.

Community
Service: The Light &
Salt Association, along with the Chinese American Relief Effort and
other Chinese churches, is sponsoring the 2008 School Supply Drive to
help under-privileged students at Cecil
Forester Elementary in Houston .
Each $10 donation provides one student with a semester's use of school
supplies; donation vouchers are available in the lobby. Please contact

Youth Ministry Service
Opportunities : The
youth ministry is looking for teachers, small group leaders, shepherds
and others who love hanging out with middle school and high school youth.
We need about 20 adults for various roles during the school year beginning
in September. Contact David Carter at davidc@hcchome.org
on how you can help in our youth ministry.

Summer
Youth Camps: Registration
is on-going for our summer youth camps. Discovery Camp, for middle
schoolers, is 7/26-29 and costs $180. Impact, for High Schoolers,
is 7/26-8/2 and costs $235. We'll be exploring what Love is at
camp, so grab a form and register today!

Urbana '09: Interested in
missions? Explore God's work across the globe with 20,000 brothers and
sisters at the triennial Urbana Student Missions Conference, held in
