ADORATION
“I
will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most

Praise the Lord.
Let everyone that has breath praise the Lord.
Let
us pause to express our thoughts of praise and worship to our God.
CONFESSION
“If
we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins…”
--I John 1:9
Pray
and ask the Holy Spirit to search our heart and reveal to us any area
of unconfessed sin.
We
acknowledge these sins to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.
THANKSGIVING
“Enter
his gates with thanksgiving...give thanks to him and praise his name.”
--Psalm 100:4
`Let
us pause to offer our own expressions of thanksgiving.
SUPPLICATION
“By
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”

the World
1.
Costa Rica : Pray for unity, love, humility and oneness in the leadership
and for revival in the churches. Pray that the believers will stand firm
in the midst of materialism and secularism.
2.
Pray for missionaries Dave and Alice Ho. Pray for God's wisdom in following
up with the students given the heavy restrictions from officials and despite
their long distance separating them from the children.
3.
Pray for God's mercy and protection as Hurricane Rita moves toward the
Gulf coast. May the storm have minimal impact on lives and properties.
4.
Pray for Katrina's aftermath and the rebuilding of New Orleans and other
cities. May all the evacuees be able to live in a normal, healthy and
safe environment.

our Church
5.
Praise the Lord for Pastor Tow's message on suffering and Minister Mou's
preaching last Sunday. May God grant us wisdom and faith as we face suffering.
May His power and holiness protect and purify us. Pray that we weather
all kinds of storms in His shelter.
6.
Pray for Pastor Tow and Pastor Hsueh as they prepare to share God's word.
May the Holy Spirit fill them and empower them.
7.
Pray for the need of pastoral staff in our church: Chinese Pastor/Minister,
Missions Pastor/Minister and Youth pastor/minister. Pray for God's guidance
and provision.
8.
Pray for Pastor Lei Chan and his team from Ministry in China who had planned
to hold a seminar this weekend. May God direct his path and open other
doors for him to minister.
9.
Pray for the English adult baptism and membership classes on 10/1 and
youth baptism classes on 10/9. May God prepare the hearts of the students.
May this be a great time of learning and spiritual renewal.
10.
Pray for the Christmas Choir. We are still lacking many needed singers,
especially for men. Please pray that God will provide and move many to
join this ministry.
11.
Praise the Lord that the library has re-opened. May God bless Sho-wei
Loh and her co-workers for their hard work and as they manage the operation.
May many benefit from this ministry.
12.
Pray for New Heart Ministries as they have to cancel their concert for
the release of their new CD this weekend. May God guide them in their
future plans.
13.
Pray for the 30 th anniversary celebration preparation. Please pray that
the special choir is able to gather all the singers for rehearsal.
14.
Pray for the council nomination confirmation for 2006. May God's will
be done.
15.
Pray for the Christmas preparation, especially the Christmas drama with
the youth and graded choir on 12/9. May God provide the needed manpower.
May God grant insight and inspiration to Jed Chen as he writes the script.
16.
Pray for the physically weak: Luella Hwang, Dean Chong, Cheong Wai Lok,
Hushan Yang, Stella Law, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang and Mrs. Ting Chung.
Pray for God's healing and comfort.
17.
Pray for Donghui Li, Shih-Hsin Kao, Mark Epps and others who are searching
for employment. Pray that God opens doors and opportunities.
18.
Pray that the power of God guides and watches over Yanyang Xiao, Ke He
and those who are traveling.
19.
Pray for the expectant mothers: Feng Liu, Lingzhi Han, Yinglan Liang,
Xiaofan Li, Ni Li, Jenny Lew and Huay Ming Loh.
