ADORATION
“Praise
be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion
and the God of all comfort” 2 Corinthians 1:3
Praise
God for being our compassionate Father and the God of all comfort in our
lives.
Praise
God that we were able to gather for worship and communion.
CONFESSION
"Then
I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,
‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD'—and you forgave the
guilt of my sin” Psalm 32:5
Pray
and spend some time in confessing our sins to the Lord.
Thank
God for the forgiveness made possible through Jesus Christ.
THANKSGIVING

us come before him with thanksgiving” Psalm 95:2
Thank
God for who he is and all that he has done in our lives, in our church
and around the world.

Around
the World
1.
Saudi Arabia : Pray that the government will ease their tight control
so that Christians are allowed to worship again. Pray for the Christians,
especially Asians, who are under strict surveillance, suffer imprisonment,
expulsion and even execution for being effective witnesses.
2.
Pray for those who were affected by the flooding in Hubei Province and
Hurricane Longwang on the southeast coastal area of China . Pray that
they may experience God's comfort and mercy.

Our Church
4.
Praise God for the weekend ministries: the Bible class taught by Pastor
Hsueh, the baptism and membership classes taught by Pastor Tow and the
wedding of Miranda Wang and Trevor Gor officiated by Pastor Ling.
5.
Praise God for speaking through Pastor Hsueh last Sunday. May we learn
from Jesus' example in servanthood. Pray that God will bless Pastor Hsueh
as he prepares to speak this Sunday. May the Holy Spirit fill him and
speak through him.
6.
Pray for the 2006 Church Council confirmation on 10/9. May God's will
be done and may He bless our leaders as they commit to serve at HCC.
7.
Pray for evangelistic meeting on 11/4. Pray that we actively seek to invite
many non-believers to come. Pray that the Lord will use the movie, New
Born, to help us to rethink our lives. May many open their lives to Jesus
and accept Him as Savior and Lord. Pray that the operation would be smooth.
8.
Pray for Father/Son retreat on 10/21-23. May many attend and grow in their
relationship with God and each other.
9.
Pray for Pastor Tow who will be attending a conference in Ohio and Linh
Phan who will be attending one in St. Louis . May God protect them as
they travel and pray that they would be blessed with new knowledge and
returned spiritually renewed.
10.
Pray for the youth baptism classes. May all be able to grow in their walk
and commitment in God.
11.
Pray for the Bible conference on 10/28-30. Pray that many who thirst for
God's words would be able to attend. May God guide Pastor Luke Lu and
greatly use him to deliver His message.
12.
Pray for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. May they be able to
return to their normal lives, work and school soon. May God help all the
relief effort in government and other organizations.
13.
Pray for the new format of the youth worship service on the 1 st weekend
of each month. May many families treasure the opportunity to worship together.
Individuals
14.
Pray for Cynthia Hsueh and her family. Cynthia's mother went to be with
the Lord on 10/2. Please pray for God's comfort to the family and guidance
in the preparation of funeral arrangements.
15.
Pray for the physically weak: Luella Hwang, Dena Chong, Cheong Wai Lok,
Hushan Yang, Stella Law, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang and Mrs. Ting Chung.
May they experience the presence of God and His love.
16.
Pray for Donghui Li, Yuqiao Gu, Shih-Hsin Kao, Mark Epps and others who
are searching for employment. Pray that God will provide for their needs.
17.
Pray for the expectant mothers: Feng Liu, Lingzhi Han, Yinglan Liang,
Xiaofan Li, Ni Li, Jenny Lew, and Huay Ming Loh. May they experience the
joy and gladness in their preparation of motherhood. .
18.
Pray for Mony Tsai. May God watch over her health and ministry in the
mission field.
