Prayer Items * * * * * * * * * * 1/25-2/01 , 2006

ADORATION

“You alone are the LORD…You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.”

Nehemiah 9:6

        Praise God for being the one and only true God, the giver of life, and worthy of all worship.

Praise the Lord for last weekend's sermon on the sanctity of life. Pray that we treat all lives with the utmost respect and dignity.
CONFESSION

“You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:19

Confess to God the many times our thoughts and actions have been impure and selfish.
Thank the Lord for his mercy, compassion, and forgiveness in our lives.

THANKSGIVING

“I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.” Psalm 118:21

Thank the Lord for the many prayers he has answered in our lives and in our church.
Thank the Father for the salvation he has provided through the Son, Jesus Christ our Savior.
 

SUPPLICATION

“Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 4:1

Around the World

          1.American Samoa : Praise God for the ministries and churches making an impact for the Lord in the territory. Pray for new    

            spiritual   

           life and vigor in these churches to resist the temptation of the materialistic culture. Pray for the indigenous people that the gospel be    

            spread    so  they know our Lord Jesus Christ.

          2 Thank God for the safe return of New Heart Ministry team from the mission trip to Taiwan . May the members get plenty of rest,  

            be refreshed and continue to serve God through their ministry.

          3. Pray for the moral value of this country. May all lives be valued and that Christians shine for God in their lives. May the citizens in  

            this country follow God's guidance in marriage and family.

In Our Church and other ministries

4. Praise God for the installation of the new church council. May God bless and use each member. May we support their

    service in this church in our prayers.

5. Praise God for the testimony shared in the English service regarding the sanctity of Life. May the Lord bless the ministry of

    the Crisis Pregnancy Center . May more people answer the call to volunteer service.

6. Praise God for the 4 brothers and sisters baptized in the English Service last week. May God strengthen their faith and use 

    them to bear much fruit for Him.

7. Pray for the Chinese New Year celebrations this weekend. May God provide good weather and call many to come. May  

    God bless all the co-workers and use them to glorify Him.

8. Pray for the Sweetheart Banquet preparation and sign up. May many be able to join the banquet and the evening be a   

    meaningful bonding for the couples.

9. Pray for the needed nursery workers. May God provide the right people to care for our children

         10.Pray for Minister Cindy Hong who is attending a conference in Florida this week. May God watch over her and grant her a    

\             very     fruitful time.

         11.Pray for the brothers and sisters in the Pearland Fellowship. They will be presenting a song in the Chinese worship service this   

              week. May this be a good experience for them. May all of the members in the fellowship be connected to the life of the church.

         12 Pray for the EE ministry. May God renew the love and commitment for those who have received EE training. May many hear the 

              gospel because of the dedication of these brothers and sisters.

Individuals .

13. Pray for William Liu and his family. His grandfather passed away in Taiwan last week. May God's love and peace be with

      the family. Pray for Ma Jin and her family in the loss of her mother. May the peace and hope of our God be a comfort to

      the family.

14. Continue to remember the physically weak and/or ill in your prayer: James Chen, Luella Hwang, Dena Chong, Hushan

     Yang, Stella Law, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Linda Kilbourne, Doris Tam, Mrs. 

     Chen L. Wu, Mrs. Lee Ying Wang and Sai Kong. Pray that the Lord comfort them and sustain their faith.

15. Pray for those seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Katherine Mui, William Liu and others. Pray that they put their trust

     in the Lord and that they experience His presence daily.

16 Pray for the expectant mothers: Yinglan Liang from Cambridge fellowship, Cecilia Lee, Jane Huang, Ariel Huang, Jenny

     Lew, Kelly Ma and Huay-Ming Loh. Pray that they receive the needed support and encouragement.
