Adoration

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel , for he has visited and redeemed his people. Luke 1:68

We are to praise our Lord the redeemer who sends His only Son to this earth.

CONFESSION

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16

None of us is without sin. Therefore, we are to confess to each other and pray for one another. Pray that by God's grace we are cleanse and healed.

THANKSGIVING

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Colossians 1:12

May we give our thanksgiving to our father who has sanctified us and qualified us to be part of His kingdom.

Around the World

1. Republic of Turkey : Turkey is the largest unreached nation in the world. Although it is a secular state but Islam state where few of the 66 million Muslims have ever heard the gospel. The Turkish church now is visible but only constitutes a very small population and subject to severe persecution and harassment. Pray for those called to be equipped and serve in this land and for opportunities to spread the gospel.

2. Pray for the political leaders of our country. May God help them to be just, righteous and to lead this country in God's way.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Praise God for last week's ministry: (1) The partaking of the Lord's Supper; (2) sermon from Pastor Tow and Dr. Chow; (3) special music offered by the Youth and Adult choirs; (4) the BASIC retreat and (5) the parent/teacher meeting for Children's Sunday school.

4.   Pray for the pulpit ministry this week. May God grant words of power and insight to Pastor Hsueh as he prepares to preach in both services.

5.   Pray for the budget planning for 2007. May God bless the co-workers in the treasury department and grant them with clarity of mind and joy in serving the Lord.

6. Pray for the AiLin Fellowship meeting on 11/16. May the Lord use Pastor Ling and his family to share the gospel through music.

7. Pray for the premier showing of the Chinese version of the gospel film, “Hope” on 12/1 evening. May we be able to invite many non Christian friends to come and receive the Gospel.

8. Pray for the Thanksgiving Service preparation and those who preparing to share their testimonies of thanksgiving. May we have thankful hearts to bless the Lord.

9. Pray for the parents participating in the children's benediction ceremony as their testimony to affirm their desire to raise their children in God's house.

10. Pray for the Christmas pageant preparation. May God grant strength, teamwork and wisdom to all co-workers in preparing for dress rehearsal this Sunday. Pray that the publicity be attractive, creative and clear to attract many. The Saturday night presentation (12/9) is designated as outreach night. May we all reach out to those non-believers whom we encounter.

11. Pray for Christmas preparation: (1) The children, youth, adult and handbell choirs' weekly rehearsal; (2) the children, junior and handbell choirs for caroling to seniors at Goldberg Tower on 12/10; and (3) the 12/24 worship service orchestra recruitments.

12. Pray for the new co-workers serving the many fellowship groups in 2007 to have servant hearts, vision and wisdom as they plan and discuss for the coming new year.

Individuals

13. Pray for the brothers and sisters whose parents are unwell: Lingwen Li's mother, Jian Huang's mother, Cherng Ching Huang's father, Pastor Ling's mother-in-law, Elaine Chan 's father, Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai's mother, Amy Tong's mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father, Paul Epp's mother, Ed Fong's grandfather and Francis Ng's mother. We thank God for answering many prayers for the physically weak, recovering a t home and/or under doctor's care: Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, , Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment) and Jing Li.

14. Continue to pray for Weilie Pang for employment opportunities. May God keep her in His peace and joy under all circumstances.

15.  Continue to pray for good health and joy of the expectant mothers: Yen Yen Kong, Esther Szeto, Connie Chau, Shelly Lau, Ingrid Song and Emay Yeng.
