ADORATION

Let us come to Him and thank our Lord for His salvation and all that He has given us abundantly.

Around the World

1. Republic of Burundi : is a fertile but poor country south of Rwanda in Africa . Historically, the Tutsi dominated the majority Hutu and the groups are in constant civil wars. Pray that the church can be instrumental in bringing reconciliation and peace between the two groups. Pray for unity, wisdom, the love of Christ and courage to the church leaders. Pray for the restoration of teaching in Bible schools and institutes. Many missionaries were expelled from the country between 1970-1985 but very few of them returned to the country because of on going instability. Many will be needed to work in reconstruction of church life and training of church leaders. .

Our Church and Other Ministries

2. Praise God for the worship services and the sermons last week. May God use us to boldly proclaim and live a life that glorifies Him. Thank God for the songs presented by the junior choir.

3. Pray for the Lord's Supper service this week. May God speak through Pastor Hsueh and grant him inspiration, clarity and power as well as a teachable heart for the congregation.

4.   May God draw us closer to Him during the Lenten season. May our faith be strong and our steps firm in spite of the broken world.

5.   We are preparing for Lent, Good Friday and the Easter season. Pray that God will provide the needed musicians for the Easter orchestra on 4/8.

6.   Pray for the special meeting “Back to Jerusalem ” on 3/9 and 3/11 with Dr. Robert and Christine Wong . Pray that God use them to teach and challenge us in spreading the Gospel.

7. Pray for the new officers of the Noon Service Choir. May God strengthen them. May they serve God with unity and wisdom.

8. Pray for the Evangelistic Talent Show on Friday, 3/2. May God provide suitable weather. Pray that many will accept the invitations to come and be touched by our Lord.

9. Pray for the new quarter of the Sunday school. May God grant wisdom to the teachers and for students to desire to grow in God's word.

10. Pray for the meeting for Parents of our youth on 3/4. May we learn together how to bring up our young people rooted in God's way in a world full of distractions and temptations.

11.   May God bless the library co-workers as they prepare literature for us. Pray that many will make use of the resources available to become disciples.

Individuals

12. May God comfort Elder Cherng Ching Huang and his family. Elder Huang's father went to be with the Lord in Taiwan on 2/23. May God grant Elder Huang safe travel to and from Taiwan and guide him.

13. Pray for the brothers and sisters who are recovering or undergoing treatment: San Leung Au (Andy Au's mother), You May Lan (Kim Wong's mother). Pray for God's constant presence with the physically weak: the father of Wai Fan Wong, Amara Wong (headache); James Wang's mother, Xin ShuQin Geng, Iris Li, Ching-Ting Liao , Lingwen Li's mother, Jian Huang's mother, Cherng Ching Huang's father, Josephine Chan's mother , Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai and his mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father (improving), Ed Fong's grandfather, Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment), Eddie Tong, Siu-Fong Ng (Klairon Tang's mother) and Jing Li.

14. Pray for Ms. Long who needs God's divine guidance on caring for her stepfather, Cun Jhao He, who is in a coma after a stroke. May she and her family experience God's love and provision. .

15. Continue to pray for Weilie Pang and those seeking employments.

16. Praise God for the arrival of baby boy, Winston to Xin Ma and Qian Li; baby boy, Ian to Chi-Wai and Connie Chau. Pray for the new expectant mother Marta Tsang and her baby who is due in May. Remember Ingrid Song, Haoling Wang (Diao) Linzhi Han, Rose He, Pei-Chi Chung Hsueh, Sabrina Hsueh, Shuangyan Wang, Selina Lai, Ellen Wong, Rita Wei Chen, Limin Chen, Linong Xiu and Yingwen Su Huang and their babies in your prayer.
