ADORATION

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

I Chronicle 16:36

Praise the Lord. Let everyone that has breath praise the Lord.

CONFESSION

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Psalm 32:1

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to search our heart and reveal to us any area of unconfessed sin.

THANKSGIVING

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: Psalm 118:19

Offer thanks to God for his abounding extravagant and eternal love for us.

SUPPLICATION

O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. Daniel 9:18

Around the World

1. Republic of Chad : one of the lowest literacy levels (10%) in the world. Officially, it is a country with freedom of religion but the government favors Islam. The country is polarized with the politically dominant Muslin northerners in all area of Chadian life. Pray for the church and her maturation and mobilization, Bible translation, unity among believers and the training of leaders. There is a great need of ministries specifically for young people and students and for suitable literature, disciplers and trainers of leaders. .

Our Church and Other Ministries

2. Praise God for last week's ministries: (a) the Lord's Supper; (b) the messages in the worship services; (c) the music presentation by the Youth Choir and (d) the Evangelistic Talent show and the many invited friends who came; (e) the meeting of the Youths' parents.

3. Pray for Pastor Tow and Pastor Mou who are preparing to preach. May the Holy Spirit fill them and use them

  to deliver His message.

4.   May God draw us closer to Him during the Lenten season. May the special Sanctuary banners and bulletin enable us to focus on God's love and our response to Him.

5.   Pray for the special meetings on Friday (3/9) and Sunday (3/11) led by Dr. Robert Wong and Christine Wong . May their sharing of “Back to Jerusalem ” encourage us to spread the Gospel.

6.   Pray for our pastoral staff as they plan to visit and care for the elderly and home-bound brothers and sisters.

7. Pray for the new officers of the Noon Service Choir. May God strengthen them to serve Him with unity and wisdom.

8. Pray for the spring travelers: (a) visiting colleges and (b) those during the spring break.

9. Pray for the preparation of the English Retreat on 3/16-17. Pray that the co-workers be energized in finalizing their work and the attendees prepare their hearts for fellowship, learning and reflection.

10. Pray for the new quarter of the Sunday school. May both teachers and students find joy and excitement in studying God's word and Biblical meaning in their lives.

Individuals

11. Pray for Elder Andy Au and his family in the passing of his mother, San Leung Au, in California earlier this week. May the Lord comfort and guide them in their sorrow. Pray for Elder C.C. Huang's family as they travel to Taiwan for the funeral. May the Lord strengthen and grant them peace..

13. Pray for Klairon Tan as she travels to Canada to visit her ailing mother, Siu-Fong Ng. May Klairon have wisdom and strength to share the Gospel with her. Pray for Ms. Long who lost her stepfather on 3/4. May she and her mother continue to experience God even under adverse circumstances.

14. Pray for Xin ShuQin who will be hospitalized on 3/12 for chemotherapy. May her diabetes and blood pressure be stabilized so that she can receive her treatment. Pray for the brothers and sisters who are physically weak to experience God's peace: You May Lan (Kim Wong 's mother), the father of Wai Fan Wong , Amara Wong (headache), James Wang's mother, Iris Li (recovering from surgery), Ching-Ting Liao , Lingwen Li's mother, Jian Huang's mother, Josephine Chan's mother, Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai and his mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father (improving), Ed Fong's grandfather, Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment), Eddie Tong, and Jing Li. .

15. Continue to pray for Weilie Pang and those seekingemployments.

16. Pray for the expectant mothers: Ingrid Song, Marta Tseng, Haoling Wang (Diao) Linzhi Han, Rose He, Pei-Chi Chung Hsueh, Sabrina Hsueh, Shuangyan Wang, Selina Lai, Ellen Wong , Rita Wei Chen, Limin Chen, Linong Xiu and Yingwen Su Huang.
