Prayer Items * * * * * * * * 09/26-10/02/2007 ADORATION Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 106:1 CONFESSION I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah Psalm 32:5 We pray to the Lord to break our willful pride and let us admit to my limitations. Pray that the strength can only come from depending on our God. THANKSGIVING Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered, Psalm 105:1 From this day forward, Lord, help us to praise You and thank You in new ways. Pray that we would not cease in our thanksgiving and do not take anything for granted. SUPPICATION The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9 Around the World 1. State of Qatar : It is an Arabian peninsular state that is almost entirely desert with some of the world's largest gas reserves and petroleum products. Qataris live in great wealth but the Asians (Indian, Pakistan , Sri Lankan and Filipino) constitute an economic lower class. The strict Wahhabi form of Sunni Islam is the state religion and the government controls the few believers who can only meet informally. Only in 2000 the Emir granted land for a Christian compound to be built for the purpose of holding services. Pray that the small groups of believers may bear fruitful witness. Pray that there may be opportunities to share with non-Christians of all peoples in the country. 2.
