Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!

We will always praise God who is our protection and refuge. We will sing in songs and praise in prayers for all His wondrous deeds.

CONFESSION

Pray that God reveal to me my sins and transgressions, forgive our weakness, fill us with strength and not let us forget His great mercy.

THANKSGIVING

..giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ephesians 5:20

Pray that we always walk in Jesus and give Him our thanksgiving for He gives us His love and Grace in abundance.

SUPPICATION

Psalm 4:1

Around the World

1.  Republic of Singapore : is a country that is actually one big city. It is home to three and a half million people and a multi-racial society which speaks 24 languages. Since Singapore became independent in 1956, it has become a wealthy and strategic financial centre in Asia . Living standard is extremely high and the work environment is competitive. A third of all students are Christians. However, many young Christians become inactive once they marry and become enmeshed in the materialistic rat race. Pray that loving God will come before materialism or security in money. Pray for the 14% of the Malay people who are considered Muslim by birth. Pray for sensitive and effective outreach because few of them have heard the gospel. Pray for Singapore to continue to be the missionary base in reaching the Asian continent and a channel of blessing to the many less-evangelized nations and surrounding peoples.

2.  Pray for missionaries David and Alice Ho. May God open doors for them to reach out to the unreached people group. Pray for good health for the family especially their younger son, Jonathan, who is underweight for his age.

4.     Pray for Pastors Tow and Mou as they prepare to preach this week. May the Lord guard and grant them wisdom and concentration as they prepare their sermons.

5.     Pray for the Choir Retreat in Galveston from 10/19-21. Pray for suitable weather, travel safety, great fellowship and spiritual renewal. May they return reenergized and more committed to serve.

6. Pray for the Bible Conference on 10/26-28. May God bless Pastor Jonathan Liu with insight as he prepares for the message. Pray that many will attend the spiritual feast to learn..

7. May the Lord bless Pastor Luh and his wife, Beatrice. Pastor Luh will be installed this Sunday. May the Lord help us to love and care for them as they make the transition to Houston .

8.     Pray for David Linkatoon and his family as they settle in Asia . Pray for quick adjustment and may God mightily use them to further His kingdom.

9.     Pray for the preparation of the Thanksgiving service. May the service be meaningful in our thanksgiving and bring glory to God's name.

10.   Pray for the preparation for the Christmas season: the 4 Advent Sunday Services; the Christmas Pageant on 12/7, 8; and the Christmas Eve Candlelight service. May God help the co-workers as they work on the music, drama, translation, audio, visual, publicity, costume, set design and decorations.

11.   Pray for the preparation of the 2008 budget by the many ministries. May the Lord guide the co-workers of each department in their vision and discernment as they seek His will.
