ADORATION

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your

faithfulness! Psalm 115:1

May all glory and praise be to our God. We are but His instruments to do what he wants us to do in His name.

CONFESSION

Who can say, “I have made my heart pure; I am clean from my sin”? Proverbs 20:9

Who among us is without sin and pure in heart? Pray that God will help us to confess to our sins we have committed and that we will not sin again.

THANKSGIVING

I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation. Psalm 118:21

May we thank our God for answering our prayers. We thank Him for His greatness and love that is the source of life.

SUPPICATION

But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness. Psalm 69:13

Around the World

1. Republic of Azerbaijan : is situated on the west coast of the Caspian Sea . In 1991 Azerbaijan was the first Soviet republic to declare its independence. Officially there has been religious freedom since then, but in reality Christianity is negatively associated with Russians and Armenians among the population the majority of which are Muslims. There were only a few Azeri Christians in 1990, now there are Azeri churches for the first time with around 2,000 believers. Pray that the Russian-speaking Christians would have sensitivity and wisdom in evangelizing the Muslim population where most towns and villages have never heard of the Gospel. Since foreign missionaries are not allowed, pray that Christians in Azerbaijan would be able to reach them. Pray that God will break down historical, political barriers and prejudice so people can open their hearts and minds to Jesus.

2. Pray for the residents in the apartment building at 7225 Bellerive where approximately 200 residents were evacuated because of a fire Monday. We thank God for the safety of the mostly elderly and disabled tenants. May God comfort and provide for them and bring about a quick return to their home.

O ur Church and Other Ministries

3. Pray for the first Advent Sunday services: Pastor Hsueh will be preaching in both services; Wilson Chuang and Pastor Ling will lead the congregation in praise and worship, including special piano and violin music. May we prepare ourselves for the Lord's Supper. May God bless and use His servants to be His messengers and to usher His people into His presence.

4.   Pray for the Christmas Pageant on 12/7 and 12/8. May God watch over all the co-workers and their last minute preparations. May God use us all to tell the story of His great miracle this Christmas. May we all come and invite friends and family to fill up His house of worship.

5. Pray for the confirmation of the 2008 budget proposal by the congregation. May we focus on the Lord's will with regard to His leading.

6. Pray for the annual fellowship leadership meeting for the Chinese Fellowship where both the incoming and outgoing leaders meet on 12/1 at 9:00 am. May the co-workers share, worship, pray and learn together in serving in their respective fellowship groups.

7.   Pray for the visit of David Carter who will explore the Youth Pastor/Minister position and for opportunity to become acquainted with our church, openness and good communications.

8.   Pray for the Chinese Mission Convention on Dec 26-30. May the Holy Spirit move in the hearts of those who have the burden and need to go forth in mission to China .

10.   Pray for the Uganda Ministry Fund Raising. May God use us to be His channel of blessings to support the pastors and churches in Uganda .

11. Pray for the special Celebration of New Life on 12/16. May we rejoice, give thanks, glorify the Lord's name and, also, be greatly encouraged.

12. Praise God that LiFen Lei was baptized last week. May God guard her faith as she returns home.
