MOBILIZATION
THE PURPOSE OF THE MOBILIZATION MINISTRY IS TO GUIDE BELIEVERS IN
DISCOVERING AND EXPRESSING THEIR GOD-GIVEN UNIQUENESS SO THAT THEY MAY SERVE AND MATURE THE
BODY OF CHRIST.
mobilize verb (trans.): to prepare and organize (troops) for active service.
The Mobilization Ministry exists to help believers
identify and use their spiritual gifts, personality blends, passions,
abilities, and life experiences to serve God's kingdom.
Just as Ephesians 2 says, we've been created in Christ Jesus for good works. We have all been endowed with a spiritual gift. Whether it's helping out with the Worship Ministry by playing with the orchestra, serving the community through Habitat for Humanity, mentoring our children and youth, helping out in the administrative offices, or even teaching Sunday School, all of us possess a unique spiritual gift that allows us to excel in one of these areas.
"so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us..."

Romans 12:5-6
As Romans 12 says, we are to offer our bodies, as this is our spiritual act of worship. At HCC, we strongly believe that by serving others, personal spiritual growth and that of our local body of believers will also result, and we challenge everyone to move beyond and take the challenge to serve.
Quite simply said, we have a duty to find our gifts and to actively use them to build up the church and those around us!
